1. Acceptance

By creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of service

CV Maker is a software-as-a-service product that lets you build a tagged master profile and generate tailored CVs from it using AI. Credits are consumed per generation and purchased in packs.

3. Credits & payments

• New accounts receive 3 free credits on sign-up.
• Additional credits are purchased in packs via Stripe Checkout.
• Credits do not expire and are non-transferable.
• Payments are final. Refunds are issued at our discretion within 7 days of purchase if a technical fault prevented the service from working.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or illegal content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI generation API.
• Create multiple accounts to exploit free credits.
• Use the service to generate CVs on behalf of other users for commercial gain without written permission.

5. AI-generated content

CV Maker uses OpenAI APIs to rephrase and select content. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all generated CVs before submission to employers. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated output.

6. Intellectual property

The profile content you enter remains yours. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy. Generated CVs are owned by you.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time via Settings.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France.
